You’re about to embark on an outdoor adventure, and Singapore Sidecars tours run come rain or shine.

Unless it’s pouring something mental or a volcano has gone off.

To activate a free rescheduling, please contact us not less than 2 hours before the tour. Free rescheduling requests received after this 2 hour window has passed will not be valid and will be subject to a $50 per guest rescheduling fee. Time of free rescheduling request will be determined via email or mobile message timestamps.

We reserve the right to cancel tours in the event of bonkers weather should your ride team on the ground determine so (or if a volcano goes off). Your right to a free rescheduling is not affected in this case.

Free reschedulings are limited to 1, thereafter a $50 per guest rescheduling fee applies. Note bookings are valid for 4 weeks from the date of ride, and are forfeited thereafter or rebookable at a 50% discount.

Rides are forfeited if cancelled within 24hours not due to unforseen weather circumstances.



In the event guests decide to proceed with the ride based on best weather information at the time, but then cancel within the minimum 2 hour window (ie deciding to proceed with a ride in light drizzle, but changing mind upon arrival), then there will be no forfeit of the ride (the weather shouldn’t be anyone’s fault right), but after exceeding the 2 hour cancellation window there will be a per-guest rescheduling fee of $50.


Running super late? Your ride team usually have a pretty tight schedule and there will be other guests after you, so please do be on time – if you run extremely late, riders will be happy to utilise your remaining time for your ride. Or you could proceed for a paid rescheduling via email – don’t worry you will not lose your ride.



If you have any special needs, please do let us know in advance before commencing the tour if you or anyone in your tour party is:

– pregnant: as a guideline, we’ve picked Cycling – a more rigorous activity to compare against – where the general belief is it’s perfectly fine to Cycle up until the Second Trimester. Thereafter, seek Doctor’s advice to see if you’re good to keep going in the Third Trimester. Sitting in a Sidecar is by comparison less vigorous as it just involves a small climb in – then sit back and enjoy the ride! However if you’d really like to make sure, always seek an expert’s medical opinion.

– experiencing mobility issues and, in particular, may require assistance with getting into or out of the sidecar

– above 195 m tall

– above 110 kg in weight,

So that we can tailor the experience for you or your party taking these factors into account to make it a more pleasant and enjoyable ride for all of you!



Strictly no eating or drinking, and keep masks on at all times. Or your normally friendly driver may throw you outta da window!



It you’re bringing a furry friend ie a small to medium dog (or cat!), do check in first with the size and weight! We recommend roughly 10kg-20kg, and keep on a leash for safety.

Although that said, one owner did bring their SHEEPDOG along once and they sat together!

For hygiene do make sure furry friend has gone to the toilet beforehand, as there will be a $100 cleaning fee should any toilet accidents occur!


Payment, Reservations and Deposit

We collect online payment before each tour. Strictly no refunds but we’ll be happy to keep your ride open and valid and transferable – so you can even gift it to a friend to enjoy, should you have a change of mind.

Our rides do require reservations.

Reservations can be made using the “Book Now” button on each respective page.

Please note that, due to PayPal terms and conditions, for deposit payment made more than a month ago, there is an additional 5% PayPal admin fee to process your refund.


For bookings made less than 48hours before the start of a tour, payment must be received no less than 24hours before the tour start time. After this time, the slot will be released to other guests on the waiting list. Please do make prompt payment to ensure the party carries on!


60-45 Days : NIL Penalty

44-30 Days : 50%

29-15 Days : 80%

Below 14 Days: 100%

Why Reserve?

We strongly recommend reserving in advance if coming as a group of 5 or more. If you have a group of 10 or more, we are able to conduct a dedicated tour just for your group and arrange additional vintage vehicles for groups up to 25. Just go to “Bespoke Tour” to send in your request. Two weeks’ notice is appreciated.

Reservations help us determine whether we might need an additional guide for your group, especially for larger MICE and Incentive groups. Strictly no refunds but we’ll be happy to keep your ride open and valid and transferable – so you can use it for another event, should you have a change of plans so nothing is lost!

Is there a Minimum Requirement?

We usually require a minimum of 2 participants before a tour commences; depending on the tour.

But if you’re travelling alone, just drop us a note and we’ll find a way to fit you in.


We’d really like you to enjoy that experience – however for safety reasons Singapore Law does not allow visitors to rent or drive scooters or motorbikes at this point.

For now each ride comes with a fully trained driver.


Kids between 10 and 100 can ride. A very happy Land Rover or Vintage Beetle support vehicle is available upon request for kids under 10 at half price per child if accompanied by a full fare adult, or at half price with an extra $80 for an optional babysitter.


Meeting Point and Directions

The Meeting Point and Directions for our tours can be found together with the tour details. All tours begin at or near MRT stations. Most tours end where they began. Our team will provide directions to nearest MRT stations, your next destination, or back to the meeting point at the end of the tour.

How to Recognize US?

You can‘t miss a convoy of vintage vespa sidecars. Right?

What if MY RIDER isn’t at the meeting point?

You are either at the wrong meeting point or have arrived after the scheduled ride timing. Our team usually waits an additional 5 minutes in case you had a sleep in. If in doubt, please contact your Lead Rider or Booking Coordinator, whose number will have been given during your booking.

Private Tours

All tours are available as well as customisable for private bookings. Private tours can be scheduled morning, afternoon or evening. We have led tours for as few as a single person or as many as 120 people. There are fee minimums for private tours. Currently each Ride Group can accommodate up to 25 persons. The line of vintage vehicles isn’t advised to be any longer otherwise it’ll cause some crazy traffic jams, and get frequently broken up at traffic lights.

We have accommodated groups of up to 120 in a day. For MICE events where numbers are large, we suggest splitting the booking over a few days, to accommodate staff numbers in the 100’s.

Or, up to 50 persons in 1 hour if you request a Bespoke Ride & Walking Tour, where we split into 2 groups of 25. However for an optimal experience when the group is large, we recommend 2-3 hours to preserve the quality of the experience.


If you book the fleet for an event, around 160 x 15 minute rides can be given over a period of 4 hours with a Ride Group consisting of 10 Singapore Sidecars. Or 80 x 30 minute rides. Or 40 x 60 minute rides. Just shout and say which!


We’d really like you to enjoy that experience – however for safety reasons Singapore Law does not allow visitors to rent or drive scooters or motorbikes at this point. It’s also worth noting that sidecars are a slightly different creature to handling a normal scooter, and the instability often causes first time riders to crash and mount kerbs or graze fire hydrants and lampposts – not an uncommon experience for our trainees.

Time & Distance

Our rides last anywhere from 1-4 hours. Our tours start on time.

Attire & What to Bring

Light tropical clothing is recommended along with comfortable walking shoes. Bring along an umbrella / poncho and a bottle of water. Don’t forget your curiosity and a big smile!


We do not normally stop for toilet breaks during our tours. However, most of our tours do begin or pass-by near public toilets or restaurants in which there are toilets.


Please turn ringers & alerts to silent mode or turn them off so as not to disturb others on the tour.

Please feel free to let loose that Go-Pro or camera! Riding a sidecar is something else. It’s the one time in your life when the tourist becomes the attraction – you’ll be getting plenty of waves and smiles from locals!
